Unforgettable cruise … 3 days & 2 nights!
Als afsluiting van onze Vietnam reis besloten wij een trip te maken naar Halong Bay! Een vriend van ons wees ons op Alova Gold Cruises, hij had net dezelfde trip gemaakt en was zeer tevreden. Wij konden helaas hun kantoortje in Hanoi niet vinden, dus hebben via een hotel onze reis geboekt. Bel ze even op, want direct boeken scheelt natuurlijk in de prijs!
Je wordt heerlijk bij je hotel opgepikt en dan gaat de reis beginnen. Prima om even je ogen te sluiten op deze 4 uur durende busreis. De “tourguides” die je meekrijgt op de bus en op de boot zijn geweldig. Allemaal enthousiast, weten veel en praten voor vietnamse begrippen zeer goed engels.
Ontvangen worden met een drankje & praatje aan boord is fijn. De kamers zijn prima in orde en als je iets nodig hebt wordt het gelijk gebracht. Het eten is echt onvergetelijk: verrassend, vers, mooi opgedekt, rijkelijk gevuld en zeer smaakvol. Neem ‘s avonds een heerlijke cocktail en geniet boven op het dek van al het moois om je heen.
Niemand anders van de 12 passagiers had 3days&2nights geboekt, dus de volgende dag hadden wij een prive dagtripbootje voor ons alleen. GEWELDIG, dit maakte Halong Bay voor ons onvergetelijk… We hebben heerlijk rondgedobberd, meer van de omgeving gezien, kanoen op een veel stillere plek en weer een heerlijke barbeque vis lunch: yummie!
Aan het einde van de dag de “nieuwe” groep ontmoet en de volgende ochtend waren wij lekker excursie vrij 🙂 Wij kregen later ontbijt, boven op het dek, helemaal super.

ee, beetje bewolkt en dat is jammer voor de foto’s. Maar ach, wij komen uit Holland en aan het weer kan je niks veranderen 😉 Halong Bay is toeristisch, maar we willen allemaal dezelfde mooie wonderen in de wereld zien… Dus maak er zelf het beste van!!!

To end our Vietnam trip we decided to go to Halong Bay! Our friend recommended us to Alova Gold Cruises, he had just made the same trip and was very satisfied. Unfortunately we could not find their office in Hanoi, so we booked our trip through a hotel. Call them briefly, because direct booking saves natural in the price! They picked us up at our hotel and the journey began. It was fine to just close your eyes on this 4 hour bus trip. The “tour guides” who inherits your on the bus and the boat are great. All are excited, he knows a lot and talk about Vietnamese in very good English. Received with a drink and chat on board is fine. The rooms are fine and if you need anything it is put right. The food is truly unforgettable: surprising, fresh, neatly covers, filled and very tasteful. Take an evening cocktail and enjoy the deck on top of all the beauty around you. No one else of the 12 passengers had 3days & 2nights booked, so the next day we had a private day trip boat to ourselves. GREAT, this made Halong Bay unforgettable for us … We have wonderful boondoggler more of the scene seen canoeing on a much quieter place and a delightful barbecue fish lunch: yummy! At the end of the day, the “new” group met and the next morning we were nice excursion Fri 🙂 We had breakfast later, on top of the deck, totally super. The weather was not totally, partly cloudy and that is unfortunate for the pictures. But hey, we’re from Holland and to the weather, you can not change anything 😉 Halong Bay is touristy, but we all want the same beautiful wonders in the world … So make the best of themselves!
