Echt genoten van onze cruise op de Alova Gold. Sunny onze gids voelt aan wat zijn gasten wensen, en is een erg aangenaam gezelschap. We hebben genoten van onze gesprekken met hem. Les chambres sont certes petites (on est sur un bateau, pas dans un complexe hôtelier sur 15 étages!), mais bien agréables, avec salle de bain privée et une literie confortable. Il y'a de l'eau chaude en fin d'après midi pour pouvoir prendre sa douche.
Le personnel est très sympathique, avenant.

Als afsluiting van onze Vietnam reis besloten wij een trip te maken naar Halong Bay! Een vriend van ons wees ons op Alova Gold Cruises, hij had net dezelfde trip gemaakt en was zeer tevreden. Wij konden helaas hun kantoortje in Hanoi niet vinden, dus hebben via een hotel onze reis geboekt. Bel ze even op, want direct boeken scheelt natuurlijk in de prijs!

The Alova Gold cruises came highly recommended by Ms Anna of Hanoi Value Hotel, where we'd stayed. We had an unbelievable experience in halong bay with Goasia. Our hotel was far from old quarter and we arrived to their office, from where we have started. 
The shuttle bus is nice, pretty, clean and spacious, also the luggage is travelling with you,but has the best place in the front.
Road is a bit long time and some of its parts are damaged, that is why speed is not that fast. View Detail

I was actually quite worried about what we were going to get after hearing horror stories from other travelers about their experiences on Ha Long Bay only days before (rats, cancelled etc). From the time Sunny picked us up from the hotel until we arrived back he was a great source of information and a wonderful guide. Along with Mr Hung, Mr Phu and the rest of the crew he could not do enough to make our cruise unforgettable.
