We were picked up form our hotel by arrangement without trouble in Hanoi. Our tour guide Mike was so very professional and knowledgeable about our cruise and the Vietnamese countryside and its history and politics. His English was perfect and his sense of family and humor made the long day trip actually fun. He is a fine representative of this company and of Viet Nam.

I took the one day tour with my friend and we both had a really good time , the place is beautiful and the company was great in everything, our tour guide Vuong Lucky was excellent and funny and really made the whole the trip to very enjoyable! :)

One of the great joys of travelling is the people you meet and the adventures you get to share with them. this couldn't have been more true about our halong bay trip. although a couple of hours away from ho chi min city, ALOVA GOLD CRUISES made it a comfortable and smooth ride. the van was excellent, pickup and departure was on time and the boat was impressive. this was made soo much better...

Okay, it's probably not the cheapest option out there BUT it is an AMAZING tour! We got a van pick up from the hotel and Lucky, our tour guide spoke great English.
