Going to Hanoi in July, 2012 with my husband. Beside scrolling around Hanoi, we had booked the Alova Cruise to experience the cruise trip at Halong Bay. It is a nice and joyful journey. When we aboard, we had our lunch and then go kayaking. I really like it, this is my first time kayaking. Tired. Evening, we relaxed on the sun deck, enjoying the cold breeze and nice sun set view. Second day,...
View DetailWe took the 3 day tour and have a wonderful time with Kim and Lucky. I recommend doing three days because on the the second day they take you on a smaller boat and take you farther out were there is no one on site. The staff was great and friendly. It was our honeymoon and they made us a cake which was a great touch and much appreciated. Definitely recommend them.
My husband and I recently took the 3 day/2 night cruise and were really impressed with the service and staff. The first day and a half of the tour we were with Sonny. We were on our honeymoon and were so surprised when Sonny presented us with a cake and champagne that night! The second day we were the only ones who stayed for another night. And it was a treat to be picked up and driven around...
View DetailMy girlfriend and I did the 3 day 2 night tour with Alova Gold Cruises after much debate about which Boat operator to use. We had heard many horror stories of people paying for one thing and getting something completely different. This was not the case here thankfully.
The boat was everything the brochure said it would be, and more! Our cabin was on the lower deck and was very...
View DetailWe just arrived in Hanoi and didn't have much time to compare different offers. We were sure, that we want to go to Halong Bay for one day. So we decided to trust our hotel receptionist. And we didn't regret it.
It was a wonderful trip. Our guide was very friendly and his English was quite good.
On the way to Hanoi we made a stop- in a souvenir shop. I don't like this kind of...
The Bay is a must see sight, yes sometimes what the tourists books say you should do sucks but this time I would say this is an attraction that one should put ones prejudice aside and just do what the book says, in other words it was be insane to go to Vietnam and not experience this.
For cruises there are 100 of boats you can chose from and quite frankly it can be both overwhelming and...
My brother-in-law and I enjoyed the 2 day 1 night Alova Cruise last week. That is not only the beauty of Halong Bay, the great hospitality from Mr Sunny and the team is unforgettable experience also. Sunny and teams teaches us how to make their favorite food, spring roll and cooked it for our dinner. This is really touching and caring. Sunny will always reminded us to treat the cruise as...
View DetailWe booked through our hotel with Go Asia Travel (Alova Gold Cruise) of Halong Bay and we were not disappointed Finding it tricky to decide how much or how little to spend I think we chose wisely and had a two day one night trip although some on our cruise stayed on for an additional night. From our hotel pick up with our v professional guide, Kim everything went smoothly and we arrived by...
