This was such a pleasant experience! The 3 1/2 hour ride from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay was enjoyable to see rural communities, types of construction and beautiful farmlands! The cruise itself was full of adventure! Hiking to a mountain top, walking thru a large cave, kayaking thru a floating village and visiting with some of the villagers (thank’s to the able translator and Guide, Kim) were some of the activities enjoyed. The food and accommodations were outstanding!
