This tour operator was chosen for us by a concierge at our hotel in Hue. We couldn’t have been happier. The tour guide “Peter” was very good! He made the trip enjoyable. He spoke slowly and tried to be clear with us. The drive to the bay was 3 hrs long with a touristy road stop half way. We were loaded onto our boat with ease. The boat was beautiful! The rooms were spacious enough and all had great views. The food was the best part of this package. Very tasty and beautifully presented! There was lots of room to move around. The viewing deck on top of the boat was very nice. We made several easy stops to beaches, pearl shops and a cave. We had our own tender being towed along with the boat so transfers to shore were simple. At night we tied up with the “sister” Alova boat and were able to socialize with the other travelers. We actually had quite a dance party going on! Peter and his co-hort from the other boat made this a great trip! I would recommend bringing your own large water bottle on board since you were only provided with one small bottle upon arrival. The cocktails were a little pricey but were definitely tasty. They had a nice wine selection. Our bartender did a great job of keeping track of all of our beverages. (Bring cash to pay your bill at the end of the trip though). I highly recommend Alova tours.
