We booked the tour via groupon which bundled a hotel stay in Hanoi as well, so i can’t comment on the price of this tour. But me and my brother had a wonderful time on the alova gold cruise. Our tour guide, Peter, is very knowledgeable about his country. We had a wonderful time just hanging out and enjoying the scenery  There were kayaking and a tour of ti-top island and the caves. Our group also had a chance in trying to roll Vietnamese spring rolls.
I would say the food is nothing to rave about, but it is okay.
Overall i would say this agency is one of the good ones, as I’ve heard horror stories from my friends. Anyways, it’s all about realistic expectations my friends.
