Me and two friends went for the 2 days 1 night on alova gold cruise and were not disappointing  The pick up from Hanoi was comfortable in the air conditioned mini-bus. When we arrived at Halong bay everything was very well planned and we were on our boat and relaxed in no time. The boat was kitted out very well. the eating area and bar was lovely and modern and the top deck was really nice to relax on, while taking in the awesome scenery. We were given the opportunity to go kayaking around one of the islands which looked fun (we couldn’t hack the burning sunshine so stayed on the boat). After this we were promptly ushered to a beautiful beach where we spent an hour or so in the warm water. Back on the boat the food was gorgeous and the staff were really friendly. Mr Hung’s cocktail happy hour was a great addition and i felt the beds were pretty good, if a little hard, Space in the cabin was tight for three but wasnt a problem as the air con was good. 

The only problem i had with the cruise was the hectic schedule. There wasn’t an awful lot of time to chill and relax, i suppose this would be different had we chosen a longer cruise but the 20 minutes  for showers was very strict and with 3 people in one room sharing doesnt leave you with much time. 

Overall i loved the experience and would definitely recommend Alova Gold!
