A trip to Vietnam isn’t really complete without a Halong Bay cruise. However, If you’ve spent any time online looking for “the best, cheap one”, you’ve probably found a plethora of awful experiences, bad reviews and terrible “junk” puns. Wary that some of the more budget cruises would end poorly, I decided to shell out the extra dough and go with Alova Gold, and I don’t regret it. The boat was nice and clean, the food was great and the staff was awesome. It might not be the cheapest Junk in Vietnam, but it certainly was worth it.
